The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service series “Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes” will start May 10.
The five-week program will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each Tuesday through June 7. The workshops will all be held at the AgriLife Extension office in McLennan County at 4224 Cobbs Drive, Waco.

Designed for Type 2 diabetes
The series is designed for people with Type 2 diabetes. Foleen said participants in the program will be able to:
- Get the facts from diabetic experts and professional educators.
- Ask the questions you want answered.
- Get the encouragement you need to make positive changes.
- Meet others who have the same concerns you do.
Do Well, Be Well series topics
Each week the series will explore a new topic which will include:
- How food affects your glucose.
- Improving your blood glucose with physical activity.
- Improving your blood glucose through medication.
- Eating the right number of carbohydrates.
- Celebrating diabetes control while avoiding complications.
