COLLEGE STATION — The Texas Agricultural Extension Service, the Texas A&M University System and the Texas Conference of Churches will co-sponsor the Town and Country Church Regional Conference Jan. 20 at the Slumber Falls Retreat Center in New Braunfels.
The goal of the conference is to inform parishioners of economic and sociological issues facing today’s rural and small town communities. This focus will be “The 3 R’s of Town and Country Ministry: Reviving, Renewing, Rejoicing.”
The conference will begin at 9 a.m. with the “reviving” information and move to the “rejoicing” information at 10:45 a.m. After lunch, the “renewing” information will begin, and the conference will conclude at approximately 4 p.m.
The registration fee for conference activities and lunch is $25. An early registration discount of $5 will apply to all registrations postmarked no later than Monday, Feb. 10. A cancellation and refund policy fee of $10 will be assessed for all conference cancellations after Feb. 17.
