WHERE: USDA-ARS Southern Great Plains Conservation and Production Agricultural Research Laboratory and the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station, I-40 access road 3/4ths of a mile west of Bushland (10 miles west of Amarillo). Turn left onto Experiment Station Drive.

PROGRAM: Tours of research project field locations, exhibits, speakers explaining and discussing agricultural advances and concerns, traditional and alternative crops, irrigation, recent weather damage, commodity marketing and agricultural financing.
Highlights will be tour stops at research plots/demonstrations between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. followed by a noon luncheon, sponsored by Texas Wheat Producers Board and Producers Association and various keynote speakers. There will be salute to Dr. Kenneth Porter, internationally renowned wheat breeder for his 50 years of service to area growers and consumers.
