Friends, former students, industry supporters, faculty and staff of the department of animal science are invited to attend the dedication of the Animal Science Teaching, Research and Extension Complex at Texas A&M University. Several hundred guests are expected to attend the dedication ceremony, tours and chuckwagon dinner at the complex.
The dedication ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. with comments by Texas A&M University President Ray Bowen and Dr. Edward A. Hiler, Vice Chancellor for Agriculture, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Director of the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and the Texas Agricultural Extension Service.
Tours of the complex begin at 4 p.m. Animal science students will act as tour guides.
At 5 p.m., a chuckwagon dinner will be served, compliments of the department of animal science. Special presentations will be made by Dr. Bryan Johnson, head of the Department of Animal Science, to key supporters of the complex at 5:30 p.m.
