DALLAS Friends and alumni of Texas 4-H are invited to help raise funds for the youth organization this fall, and have some fun while doing it. Texas 4-H Night at Texas Stampede is scheduled for 7:30 p.m Nov. 8. This year’s Texas Stampede rodeo the Pace Picante ProRodeo Classic, set for Nov. 7-9 at American Airlines Center in Dallas will benefit the Children’s Medical Center and University of Texas Southwestern’s Pediatric Programs.
It also benefits Texas 4-H. For all three days of the rodeo, the cost of each ticket will include a $5 donation to Texas 4-H. Friends and alumni of 4-H are especially invited to come for a reunion and to help raise funds for the alumni program, according to Gayle Hall, Texas Cooperative Extension 4-H and youth development specialist.
In addition to attending the rodeo on Texas 4-H Night on Saturday, participants are invited to enjoy a concert by Lonestar afterwards. Other performers scheduled are Pat Green on Nov. 7 and Sheryl Crow on Nov. 9.
