COLLEGE STATION – Four undergraduate students and two faculty members received awards recently at the Texas A&M University Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society of Agriculture banquet.
Receiving Awards of Merit for Scholarship in the Outstanding Junior category were Bhavini Patel (biochemistry) and Heather Jennings (agricultural journalism). Jennifer Snider (plant pathology) and Charlotte Ellis (entomology) were named Outstanding Seniors.
Awards of Merit for teaching went to David Forrest (animal science) in the College of Agriculture and Life Science, and Margaret Arnold (mathematics) in the College of Science.
