MCKINNEY – A free course on living with diabetes has been set for North Texas by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, an agent for the agency said.
The “Do Well Be Well With Diabetes” course will be held on Oct. 15, 22, 29 and Nov. 3, from 1-3 p.m. in the Collin County Courthouse, 2100 Bloomdale Road (at North Central Expressway), McKinney.
The registration deadline is Oct. 9, said Carrie Brazeal, AgriLife Extension agent for family and consumer sciences in Collin County. To register, contact Brazeal at 972-424-1460, ext. 4233, or c-brazeal@tamu.edu .
The class is designed for people with Type 2 Diabetes and their family members, Brazeal said.
“It’s a comprehensive course over four weeks that will provide participants with information about diabetes and how to live full and happy lives with the disease,” she said.
