COLLEGE STATION – Roxanne Orsak, executive vice president with H-E-B, has been inducted into the Tyrus R. Timm Honor Registry in the department of agricultural economics at Texas A&M University.
Orsak, a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M, was honored recently at a lunch event at the new Texas AgriLife Research and Texas AgriLife Extension Service headquarters building on the Texas A&M campus in College Station. Timm, who led the agricultural economics department from 1953 until 1973 during its rise to national prominence in teaching, research and Extension. Timm was known for his knowledge of finance and agricultural banking.
