MARFA – A wide range of topics sure to please any Far West Texas gardener will be presented during the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Spring Community Horticulture Workshop set from 8 a.m.-3:45 p.m. March 6 in the City Hall Casner Room, 113 S. Highland in Marfa, said program organizers.

And, to top it all off, we’ll be giving away free pomegranate seedlings to all participants.”
Topics and speakers will include:
– Area Climate Overview, Fruit Tree Selection, Water Needs, Pruning, Summer Vegetable Selection, Pecan Tree Selection and Community Gardens, Denise Rodriquez, AgriLife Extension horticulturist, El Paso.
