HAMILTON – The Multi-County Sheep Program will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 10 at the Hamilton Commission Company, 2525 N. U.S. Highway 281 in Hamilton.
Cost is $10 and includes lunch. Two general continuing education units will be offered for Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide license holders. The program is sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Hamilton, Erath, Comanche, Mills, Lampasas and Coryell counties.
Topics include best times to sell, best weights to sell and tails versus no tails; parasite and predator control; forages and grasses for dorper sheep; and economics of dorper sheep.
