EDNA – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Jackson County will present a Cotton and Grain Risk Management and Marketing Workshop from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Nov. 14.
The workshop will be held at the Jackson County Services Building Auditorium, 411 N. Wells St. in Edna. The cost is $25 per person and includes lunch.
“This will be an in-depth, hands-on training featuring AgriLife Extension experts,” said Mike Hiller, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Jackson County. “It will include presentations on budgeting tools, insurance decision tools, 2019 crop insurance options and marketing strategies. There also will be grain and cotton market outlooks, mid- and long-term weather forecasts and more.”
Attendees should register on or before Nov. 2 by calling Hiller at the AgriLife Extension office in Jackson County at 361-782-3312.
