BAY CITY — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Matagorda County will host the Fall Farm Pond Management event on Sept. 3 at the Wharton County Junior College, 4000 Ave. F, Bay City.
The program will focus on stocking ponds, pond construction and cool-season management. The speaker will be Aaron Sumrall, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension agent, Matagorda County.
Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a fee of $20, and the program will follow at 6 p.m.
There will be two Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units available, one general and one laws and regulations.
