FORT WORTH — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Tarrant County will host a Ranchers Leasing Workshop from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 at 200 Taylor St. No. 500, Fort Worth.
Presenters will be Tiffany Dowell Lashmet, AgriLife Extension agricultural law specialist, Amarillo, and Greg Kaase, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension agricultural economist and risk management specialist, College Station.
The workshop will focus on grazing, hunting and livestock leases. It also will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and interact with attorneys and economists.
All participants will receive their own copy of the Ranchers’ Agricultural Leasing Handbook, containing checklists and sample lease language.
