The annual Fall Plant Sale, presented by the Department of Horticulture in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, will be held on Oct. 4-5 on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station.
The plant sale will be from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 4 and continue from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 5. It will be held next to Lot 98 both days, and free parking is available in both Lot 98 and Lot 114 on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Coordinators said a selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and edibles will be available.
“This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year,” said William Whitley, social chair officer for the Horticulture Club.
The Horticulture Club students grow around 90% of the plants at the sale.
Whitley said money raised at the sale helps students with professional development and provides students with hands-on experience in the greenhouse, nursery and landscaping industry.
