The Williamson County Extension Education Association, EEA, will host the annual EEA Exhibition Day on March 3 so county residents may showcase their arts and crafts skills.
The countywide event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 510 Luther Drive in Georgetown.
“This event is open to all county residents,” said Andrea Haubner, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service family and community health agent, Williamson County. “Quilts, decorated garments, ceramics, preserved foods, scrapbooks and jewelry are just some of the categories in which participants can enter.”
Haubner said entries will be accepted from EEA club members, 4-H members and the general public. Awards will be given in all three of these groupings.
The EEA will cover all entry fees, with entries due from 8:30-9:15 a.m. on the day of the event. Judging will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and no entries will be accepted after judging begins. Attendees will be given an opportunity to view all exhibits from 11:30 a.m.-noon. All entries are to be picked up at 2:30 p.m.
