A virtual Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service program on pesticide labels and labeling will be held from 7-8 p.m. Oct. 20. The program will be presented online via Microsoft Teams.
The program, called “Pesticide Labels and Labeling,” will be presented by Vick Alexander, assistant regional director-pesticides for the Texas Department of Agriculture. It is being sponsored by the Bexar County Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.
Womble said the program is focused on residents of Bexar County, but others may participate. Those who participate will receive one continuing education unit from TDA in the category of pesticide laws and regulations.
The program cost is $10. To register, email Chris Lambert at the AgriLife Extension office for Bexar County and provide a valid pesticide applicator license number. Once registered, more information about online participation will be provided.
