A Multi-county Reproduction Management Workshop for cattle producers in Atascosa, Bexar, Frio, Live Oak, McCullen, Medina and Wilson counties will be held May 20 at Tom Brothers Ranch, 770 County Road 412, Campbellton.
The workshop, presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The cost is $30 per person, and lunch is included. Space is limited, so attendees should sign up as early as possible.

“Demonstration and exercise supplies will be provided,” said Dale Rankin, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Atascosa County.
Rankin said participants should bring three to five docile cows that have been exposed to a bull over the past 90 days and possibly one cow that is open.
Workshop details and topics
Workshop topics and demonstrations will be presented by Joe Paschal, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension livestock specialist, Corpus Christi, along with AgriLife Extension agents from participating counties. Topics will include:
— “Ins and Outs” of Pregnancy Testing.
— “Hands-On” Anatomy of a Cow’s Reproductive Tract.
— Rectal Palpation.
— Estrus Synchronization Made Easy.
Information will also be provided on cattle reproductive diseases.
