Stewardship and Stockmanship webinar overview
Cody Scott, Ph.D., professor and research scientist, Department of Agriculture, Angelo State University, San Angelo, is the scheduled speaker.
“Dr. Scott will connect the stockmanship and stewardship dots of managing a working ranch in West Texas,” said Morgan Treadwell, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension range specialist, San Angelo, and program co-coordinator.
“Both of these priorities go hand-in-hand and can be synergistically applied to optimize profitability during below-average, average and above-average years on rangeland,” she said.
For additional information or webinar questions, contact Treadwell at Morgan.Treadwell@ag.tamu.edu, or event co-coordinator Brittany Chesser, AgriLife Extension aquatic vegetation program specialist, Bryan-College Station, at Brittany.Chesser@tamu.edu.
