The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will offer an in-person Private Pesticide Applicator Training on May 17 in Georgetown.
The training will prepare participants to take the Texas Department of Agriculture exam to obtain a pesticide private applicator license.
The program will be held at the AgriLife Extension office in Williamson County, 100 Wilco Way, Suite AG205, from 1-5 p.m.
The cost is $60, payable by check or exact cash on-site, and light refreshments will be provided.

May 17 training, exam preparation
Producers and landowners who apply restricted-use pesticides on their properties must be trained and licensed to do so.
The program will offer the following to prepare participants to take the private pesticide applicator exam:
- All necessary training instruction.
- All printed materials.
- An interactive question and answer period with instructors.
