The School of Irrigation, developed by Texas A&M AgriLife, is offering 10 workshops from Feb. 14-June 8 at locations across Texas for irrigation professionals, landscape architects and engineers.

The School of Irrigation conducts research and educational programs supporting the Texas Irrigation Industry. It is administered through the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
“Registration is now open for all of our spring courses,” said Charles Swanson, AgriLife Extension landscape irrigation specialist, Bryan-College Station. “We have a wide variety of topics for irrigation professionals to select from to continue their irrigation education and meet the changing needs of the irrigation industry.”
Participants may register and pay for the classes at https://tx.ag/Irrigation. The costs and locations vary, and participants should review the registration page for additional information related to a specific course.
The classes are approved for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality-licensed irrigators, technicians and inspectors. They also meet the continuing education program hours requirement for landscape architects in sustainable design and the professional development hours requirement for Texas professional engineers.
