The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will hold the Pond Management and Rainwater Harvest program on April 28 in Marlin.

The event will be from 9-11:15 a.m. with on-site registration starting at 8:30 a.m. It will take place at the Marlin City Park Falls County Youth Fair Pavilion, 319 Willis St.
The cost is $10. An RSVP is requested by April 26 to the AgriLife Extension office in Falls County at 254-883-1410.
One general Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education unit is available for pesticide applicator license holders.
“With the increase of the population growth in the state and rural areas, water is becoming a valuable resource and starting to be limited in rural communities with access to public water sources,” said Pasquale Swaner, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Falls County. “Rainwater harvesting is one way to maximize this resource.”
The AgriLife Extension offices of Falls and Robertson counties are sponsoring the event. For questions or additional information, contact Swaner at 254-883-1410 or pasquale.swaner@ag.tamu.edu.
