The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Williamson County will be hosting a Design Opportunities in the Herb Garden demonstration program on June 24 in Georgetown.

The program will be from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Texas Master Gardeners of Williamson County Demonstration Gardens located at 3151 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown.
The free event is open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and dress comfortably for the weather.

Demonstration herb garden to be viewed
Participants will view the four themed herb beds inside the Demonstration Gardens and the herb Spiral, which shows how to grow herbs in a functional and attractive design while having a small footprint.
Participants will learn about:
- Growing and harvesting different herbs.
- How to design herb gardens using different themes.
- How to best utilize herbs in preparing dishes and cooking.
Williamson County Master Gardeners will be available to answer participants’ questions. The Texas Master Gardener program is an educational volunteer program conducted by the AgriLife Extension.
