3-part financial literacy series to begin Oct. 28 in Brenham
Agenda includes identity protection, spending and savings plans, preparing for the unexpected
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Washington Extension Education Association invite community members to take charge of their finances through a free, three-part Financial Literacy Class Series for 2025-2026.

Whether an individual is just starting their financial journey or looking to sharpen their money management skills, these sessions are designed to equip participants with practical tools for real-life financial success.
Financial literacy session schedule
The three-part financial literacy series schedule will be:
• Oct. 28 – Protecting Your Money and Your Identity.
• Jan. 6 – Your Spending and Saving Plan.
• April 14 – Planning for Unexpected Events.
Each session will be held at the Washington County Expo – Event Center, 1305 E. Blue Bell Road, Brenham. Registration will be from 5-5:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Each session will feature a guest speaker from Citizens State Bank, helpful educational materials, door prizes and light refreshments.
