The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Potter County will offer the private pesticide applicator training class on Jan. 14, March 18, May 20 and June 10 in Amarillo.

The cost is $60 and includes all training materials. Participants are asked to RSVP at least one week prior to the class they plan to attend by calling 806-373-0713. 

Check-in will be from 8:30-9 a.m. for each class, and the class will last three and a half hours. 

The trainings will be held at the AgriLife Extension office for Potter County, 3301 SE 10th Ave. 

About the trainings

A Private Pesticide Applicator License is required for producers and landowners who apply restricted-use pesticides to their property. The class provides the training necessary to take the private applicator license test administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture
