Brushy Creek Watershed Protection Plan public meeting set for Aug. 26
Meeting to discuss management strategies to address water quality concerns
The Texas Water Resources Institute, TWRI, will host a Brushy Creek Watershed Protection Plan stakeholder meeting on Aug. 26 in Round Rock.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at the City of Round Rock Transportation Building, 3400 Sunrise Road.
Landowners, residents, agricultural producers, local officials and anyone interested in water quality in the Brushy Creek watershed are encouraged to attend.
Meeting information
The meeting will focus on management strategies and education and outreach efforts to address water quality concerns in the Brushy Creek watershed. Stakeholders will build on input provided during previous meetings and help identify strategies for consideration in the watershed protection plan.
The project team will also provide an update on the watershed planning process and the anticipated timeline for upcoming meetings and plan development.
