About the webinar

This session will highlight accessible transportation options in an evacuation plan, identify emergency-related needs of individuals with disabilities and their caregivers, and review how to sign up for and access multiple emergency alert systems.
 
The webinar will be presented by Logan Perkes, regional disability integration specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Region 6, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.

Continuing education credits available

Participants can earn continuing education credits, CEUs, for attending this session. Up to seven CEUs are available.

One continuing education unit will be available in the following areas:

· Certified in family and consumer sciences, American Association for Family and Consumer Sciences.
· Board-certified patient advocates, Patient Advocate Certification Board.
· Board-certified case managers, Commission for Case Manager Certification.
· Board-certified disability management specialists, Commission for Case Manager Certification.
· Certified family life educators, National Council on Family Relations.
· Certified health education specialist and master certified health education specialist, National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
