The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a series of federal income tax and agricultural tax workshops this fall to help tax preparers stay current on the latest tax law changes and apply them with confidence.

The workshops will be held in Dallas, Houston and online, giving tax preparers flexibility in how and where they complete their training.

“These sessions combine expert instruction with interactive learning,” said Lisa Patterson, AgriLife Extension Tax Workshops program manager in the Texas A&M Department of Agricultural Economics, Bryan-College Station. “Our goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to better serve the community.

A trusted source for continuing education

The AgriLife Extension Tax Workshops program has long been recognized for connecting Texas tax professionals with reliable, up-to-date guidance on federal tax law. The workshops offer continuing education credits through the IRS, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, the Certified Financial Planner Board and the State Bar of Texas.

Part Two: Federal Income Tax Workshop

All Part Two sessions run from 8:20 a.m.-4:20 p.m., and the registration fee is $480

Agricultural tax issues workshop

The Agricultural Tax Issues Workshop will be held online Dec. 8 from 8:20 a.m.-4:20 p.m. The registration fee is $240.
