The class will be offered in two sessions to accommodate participants’ schedules. The morning session will be from 9 a.m. to noon, and the afternoon session will be from 2-5 p.m.

Both sessions will be in the VIP Building of the Washington County Expo, 1305 E. Blue Bell Road.

The registration fee is $35 per person, which includes hands-on instruction, take-home recipes and supplies, and educational materials. Online registration is available at tx.ag/FermentationClass. While the deadline for registration is May 27, space is limited to 12 participants per session, so early registration is encouraged.

About the workshop

Participants will explore the ancient art of fermentation and learn the science and traditions behind the process. Fermentation has been practiced for centuries and is associated with numerous health benefits, including improved digestive health, boosted immunity and enhanced mental well-being.

Attendees will gain practical, hands-on experience and leave the workshop with take-home recipes and supplies to continue fermenting at home.
