The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host two single-day grain grading workshops on Aug. 12 and Aug. 13 at the West Texas A&M Ag Pavilion, 600 WTAMU Drive, Canyon.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and is open to anyone interested in grain grading. Working hands-on with grain samples, participants will learn the importance of grading grain, become familiar with grain grading standards, develop proper sampling techniques, and identify different types of damage and their potential impact on grade and feeding value.  

The registration fee is $100 per participant and includes lunch. Preregistration is required as class size is limited to 30 participants per day. The registration deadline is Aug. 11. Register at tx.ag/GrainGrading2026.  

There is also a 10% discount for companies registering five or more employees.
