The event will take place at the AgriLife Extension office for Gillespie County, 38 Business Court. Registration is required by Nov. 16 at https://tx.ag/LandownerStrategies or by calling 830-997-3452. The cost is $25 with lunch provided or $10 if participants bring their own lunch.

  • Agricultural tax exemptions.
  • Wildlife and livestock interactions.
  • Agricultural law resources.
  • Hill Country tree care.
  • Implementing wildfire mitigation strategies.

  • Liz Tidwell, AgriLife Extension small acreage program specialist in the Texas A&M Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, Uvalde.
  • Brad Roeder, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent for Gillespie County.
  • Morgan Treadwell, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension range specialist and professor in the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, San Angelo.
  • Elizabeth McMahon, AgriLife Extension horticulture agent for Gillespie County.
  • Kevin Knapick, AgriLife Extension Disaster Assessment and Recovery specialist, Fredericksburg.
  • Tiffany Dowell Lashmet, J.D., AgriLife Extension agricultural law specialist and professor in the Texas A&M Department of Agricultural Economics, Amarillo.
