The program will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Registration is $50 per person.

“As agriculture faces increasing market volatility, crop insurance programs and government-backed initiatives are important to help farmers stabilize their income and add an extra layer of security,” said Merri Beth Day, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension economist and assistant professor, Texas A&M Department of Agricultural Economics, Canyon.

The Master Marketer program is designed to help agricultural producers increase their comprehension of marketing concepts, develop a marketing plan and adopt key risk management practices.

Day said financial education empowers farmers to understand risk management tools, navigate complex insurance options and make informed decisions about their operations.
