The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Jefferson County will host a pesticide applicator recertification program on Nov. 6 in Beaumont.

The program will be held at Doggett Ford Park, 5115 Interstate Highway 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required, and the cost, which includes lunch, is $60. Online registration is available through Oct. 31 at https://tx.ag/CEURecertification. On-site registration will be available for $80. 

Five Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education credits will be available for private pesticide applicator license holders — three integrated pest management, one laws and regulations, and one general.

Additionally, five Structural Pest Control Service continuing education units — two general, one lawn and ornamental, one weed control, and one pest — will be available.  

Attendees should bring their applicator’s license to ensure they receive credit for attending.
