Stock Pond Management Workshop series begins Aug. 31 in Waco
AgriLife Extension program to cover pond construction, basic management topics, fish stocking
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is partnering with McLennan Community College Continuing Education to host a Stock Pond Management Workshop Series beginning Aug. 31 in Waco.
The three-part series will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 31, Sept. 14 and Sept. 21 at the AgriLife Extension office for McLennan County, 4224 Cobbs Drive. Participants may also attend virtually through Microsoft Teams.
Each session focuses on topics to help landowners and ranchers better understand how to build, maintain and improve the health of their ponds.
The cost is $49 and includes all three sessions. Registration is available online at tx.ag/StockPondManagement or by calling 254-299-8888. Following registration, participants will receive additional program details and attendance instructions.

- Long-term pond management
- Pond fish stocking recommendations
