ANDREWS – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct the Permian Basin Oil and Gas Stewardship Conference from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Lincoln Community Building, 400 NW Ave. J in Andrews.

“With the drop in the price of oil, many landowners in the Basin are considering their options with utilizing solar and wind energy production on their properties,” said Amanda Necessary, AgriLife Extension agent in Andrews County. “Part of the conference agenda will give landowners the latest information on both industries and what they need to know before they decide to sign a lease.”
