“We are excited to have Justin joining the District 3 AgriLife Extension team,” said Miles Dabovich, AgriLife Extension district administrator in Vernon. “His background and employment experience at the 4-H center will bring a great foundation to the Stephens County program.”

Givens earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

He was active in FFA, ag mechanics and 4-H during high school and said those organizations have helped him develop the leadership and organizational skills needed in the AgriLife Extension position.

“I look forward to making a life here, being a part of the community and bringing everyone together to help each other out, both in the 4-H and adult programs,” Givens said.
