BROWNWOOD – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Brown County has set the dates for their annual Lunch-N-Learn Horticulture Series.

The series will be held  at the AgriLife Extension office in Brown County, 605 Fisk Ave. in Brownwood.

As the name indicates, all the programs are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Scott Anderson, AgriLife Extension agent in Brown County, said the programs are open to anyone interested in landscapes and gardening.

There is an individual registration fee of $25 for the series or a $10 fee due upon arrival, to attend any single program.

Lunch-N-Learn dates, topics and speakers will include:

– April 6, Home and Landscape Pesticide Use, Anderson.

– May 12, Butterflies and Pollinators, Dr. Charles Allen, AgriLife Extension entomologist, San Angelo.

– June 1, Gourmet Gardens, Bob Anderson, “Garlicmeister,” Gourmet Garlic Gardens, Bangs.

– July 6, Mulch and Compost, Daniel Graham, manager, Brownwood Community Garden.

– Sept. 7, Recommended Small Fruits to Grow at Home, speaker to be announced.
