Drew Dunlap joins Castro, Hale, Lamb counties as AgriLife Extension agronomy agent

 LUBBOCK – Drew Dunlap has joined the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service as an agronomy agent. He will serve Castro, Hale and Lamb counties.

“I’m glad to be a part of the Texas A&M AgriLife system and provide beneficial, unbiased information to producers in Hale, Lamb and Castro counties,” Dunlap said. “My goal is to provide growers with solutions found through research that will allow them to be successful and profitable in their operations. This position will allow me to collaborate with AgriLife professionals, businesses and consultants to address the problems producers are facing.”

Dunlap will report to Michael Clawson, AgriLife Extension district administrator, Lubbock.

“Drew will be a real asset for the counties he serves,” Clawson said. “Having an agronomist like Drew in District 2 is an outstanding addition to our team and the services we provide to the communities we serve.” 

Dunlap attended Texas Tech University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural and applied economics and his master’s degree in plant and soil science.
