“We’re pleased to have Justin join us here in AgriLife Extension’s 23-county West Central District,” Gibbs said. “He will be responsible for all of AgriLife Extension’s agriculture and natural resources endeavors in Fisher county. He’ll officially start his new assignment on March 16, but will then complete a modified version of AgriLife Extension’s orientation training, formerly called ‘First Step’ in Jones County through the month of April.”

McGriff earned a master’s of science degree in agriculture with an emphasis on animal science from Tarleton State University, Stephenville, in 2014 and a bachelor’s in animal science from Angelo State University in San Angelo in 2011.

While at Tarleton, he served as a teaching research graduate assistant and at Angelo State, he worked at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at San Angelo collecting scientific data and caring for livestock.
