Texas A&M AgriLife communicators receive national awards
Land-grant university communicators celebrated through Association for Communication Excellence
The Texas A&M AgriLife Marketing and Communications team in the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences brought home nine awards from the annual Association for Communication Excellence, ACE, conference June 23-25 in Salt Lake City.
“These awards are an example of how we communicate the value of Texas A&M AgriLife and the mission of our agencies and College,” said Katherine Hancock assistant vice chancellor for marketing and communications for Texas A&M AgriLife. “We’re proud to showcase how we, as a land-grant university, provide innovative and science-based solutions that position Texas A&M AgriLife as a national model.”
Branded as “Driven by science, communicating for change,” ACE comprises communications professionals working for educational, governmental and research organizations to extend knowledge about agriculture, natural resources, and life and human sciences.
The ACE community sponsors a yearly critique and awards program for educational and promotional products created by universities in the land-grant system. The awards program provides members professional critiques of their work and recognizes those who have done an outstanding job.
