SAN ANTONIO — Landowners who want to learn more about how to manage ponds are invited to a pond management workshop from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 13 at the Phil Hardberger Park Urban Ecology Center, 8400 Northwest Military Highway, San Antonio.

“This workshop will provide helpful tips on pond ecology, stocking rates for fish, selecting the right fish species for your needs, pond management and aquatic plant identification,” said Troy Luepke, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service water and natural resources program coordinator in Bexar County.

Registration is $25 and payable by cash or check at the door. Dr. Todd Sink, AgriLife Extension fisheries specialist headquartered in College Station, will be the presenter.
