Singleton joins Dawson County as AgriLife Extension family, community health agent

LUBBOCK– Nicole Singleton will be joining the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service as a family and community health agent for Dawson County on July 1. Michael Clawson, District 2 extension administrator, will be her supervisor.
“Nicole’s extensive experience working in an educational environment will make her a valuable addition to our team of agents,” said Clawson. “Her background working with families and within her community will be an asset as she starts her new role with us next month.”
Singleton has her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin, Odessa. She served a total of 15 years as an elementary school and pre-kindergarten teacher before joining AgriLife Extension.
“I am so excited about all the opportunities and the endless adventures I will be part of with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service,” said Singleton. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with the young and old throughout our community. A quote I read today said, ‘Be brave enough to take that leap of faith.’ I am glad I decided to take that leap, and I’m ready for this new adventure to begin.”
