The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service announced Kendra Conley has transferred from her position in Hardeman County to Tom Green County. Conley, who previously served as a family and community health agent for 16 years, will now serve as a Better Living for Texans agent.

Better Living for Texans, or BLT, is a nutrition education program for adults and children that are Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP, participants and SNAP eligible.

The BLT program helps people make healthy meals, improve their physical fitness, save money at the grocery store, grow their own food and adopt better food safety habits, explained Conley.

“After speaking with BLT agents in my current community, I thought a BLT position would be a good fit for me and give me an opportunity to help educate and encourage others,” Conley said. “I am excited to be headed to San Angelo.”
