Courses for both new, seasoned gardeners

Each course will be geared toward both long-time gardeners as well as those who are new to lawn and garden care in Central Texas.

Taught by local Master Gardeners and Hajda, participants will learn some of the unique challenges present in vegetable gardening in Central Texas and what practices people can take to grow a healthy and productive garden at their homes.

The courses will also teach participants about Earth-Kind gardening practices and how to use a combination of the best traditional and organic principles to maximize garden enjoyment while preserving and protecting the environment. The course will also cover the practical, real-world steps to conserve water in landscapes, including low-volume irrigation and rainwater harvesting.
