Speakers from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Texas Land Conservancy fill an agenda that includes discussions about Llano River conservation, conservation easements, estate tax planning and condemnation strategy.

The workshop takes place from 9:45 – 3:15 p.m. at Lyssy and Eckel Feeds, 105 E. Young St.

Event speaker Dr. John Tomecek, AgriLife Extension assistant professor and wildlife specialist in Thrall, said discussions will include essential information for landowners, ranch realtors and other land management consultation professionals.

The $10 workshop is open to the public.

“It’s important for landowners and the people who serve them to understand these issues as best they can for the sake of protecting property into the future,” Tomecek said. “The information we will share is going to be critical for ensuring that happens.”

Those planning to attend should RSVP to Tomecek at 325-650-3520 or by email at [email protected] before the event.
