The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Department of Soil and Crop Sciences will host a field day June 14 at the Texas A&M University Farm in Somerville.

The free event will be held from 7 a.m-1 p.m. at the farm, located at 14250 Farm-to-Market Road 60.

The field day will include a four-stop tour of the farm where producers will learn the latest research and updates from agency experts on topics such as forages, cotton management, weed management, herbicide drift and crop systems management.

A total of three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing educations units will be available to private pesticide applicator license holders, including two general units and one drift unit.
