Nuisance wildlife management program set for June 27 in Georgetown
Residents will learn latest techniques, resources to control nuisance wildlife
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a nuisance wildlife management program on June 27 in Georgetown.

One Texas Department of Agriculture integrated pest management continuing education unit is available to private pesticide applicator license holders.
Program topics and speakers
Participants will learn the latest techniques and resources available to them to help control nuisance wildlife including feral hogs and black vultures.
Linda Tschirhart-Hejl, Texas Wildlife Services district supervisor, Bryan-College Station, and Cole May, Williamson County trapper, Georgetown, will discuss the following topics:
- New feral hog toxicant and contraceptive bait information.
- Feral hog management.
- Black vulture management techniques and depredation permit information.
- Biology and significance of nuisance pets affecting Williamson County and Central Texas.
- Integrated pest management techniques, laws and regulations.
