The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Wilson County will host a commercial and non-commercial pesticide license training on Nov. 13 in Floresville. 

The training will run from 9-11 a.m. at the Wilson County Expo, 435 Texas State Highway 97. The cost is $100 per participant, which includes three training manuals. Registration can be made by calling the AgriLife Extension office at 830-393-7357. Seating is limited, and the registration deadline is Nov. 4.

About the pesticide license training

The general standards and vegetation management training will help participants prepare for the Texas Department of Agriculture non-commercial applicator license general standards, laws and regulations, and vegetation management exams. 

The training will be led by Samantha Shannon, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Wilson County.
