AgriLife Extension to host picolinic acid chemistry training on Oct. 9
Virtual course will cover application requirements of Invora herbicide
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Bexar County will host a virtual picolinic acid chemistry training on Oct. 9.
The training is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and registration is available by contacting Kennedy Green at 210-631-0400 or [email protected]. Deadline to register is Oct. 7.
Payment can be sent to the Bexar County Extension Office, 3355 Cherry Ridge Drive, STE. 212, San Antonio, Texas 78230. Make check payable to Bexar Ag/NR Committee. The link for the virtual event will be sent once registration and payment are made.
About picolinic acid
Picolinic acid chemistry training covers the application requirements for use of Invora herbicide for weed and brush management on rangeland. Applicators must complete training every two years.
Megan Clayton, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension range specialist and professor in the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, Uvalde, will lead the training.
One pesticide laws and regulation continuing education unit will be available.
