Aquaponic workshop set for Oct. 24 in Dallas
In-person and virtual Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service program for beginners and experienced growers
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a workshop on Oct. 24 in Dallas covering how to utilize fish waste as a nutrient source for plants in aquaponic systems.

The workshop will be held 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Water Education Building at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas, 17360 Coit Road.
The cost is $30 for in-person attendance, which includes lunch, or $10 for virtual attendance. To register, visit https://tx.ag/AquaponicWorkshop. Doors open at 8 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. and adjourning at 1 p.m. after lunch.
About the aquaponic program
Enthusiasts, beginners and experienced aquaponic growers are invited to attend the half-day workshop to learn the latest research to utilize fish waste as a nutrient source for plants.
