The free event is part of the monthly “Get into Gardening” seminar series. It will begin at 6 p.m. in Room 326 of the University Building at Texas A&M-Texarkana, 7101 University Ave. 

About the program

Penny Wilkerson, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department wildlife biologist for Bowie County, will conduct the program. 

Attendees will learn tips to help them create a garden environment that will attract birds, bees, butterflies and other native animals to their backyards.
